What hospitals do you cover?
We provide service from Gold Coast University Hospital down to Tweed hospital. Other hospitals include Gold Coast Private Hospital, Pindara Private Hospital, Robina Hospital and John Flynn Hospital.
Do you prefer the patient to wash their hair before the haircut?
As part of the service we are happy to provide a wash and scalp massage. Even for bed-bound patients, we bring a mobile inflatable basin to help the patient feel the luxury of a hairdresser washing their hair. However, if the patient can and wants to wash their own hair that is fine.
Do you provide a hair colouring sevrice?
Sorry we are not offering this service to avoid any possible adverse reactions to the patient's treatment plan.
If I buy this service for my loved one, do I need to be there?
You are more than welcome to attend, but usually we only need a family or friend there if you feel it would help the patient - eg if the patient is suffering from anxiety or dementia.
What is the best way to contact you?

What is your lead time / wait time?
In most cases we can arrange a haircut in the next week and we have flexibility to suit the patients treatment / rehab calendar.
What if a doctor or nurse comes in?
Doctors and nurses always have first priority and we can easily leave the room. We find that the nurses are fully on board with the care we provide and often want to visit to see the transformation.
What if the patient is just not up to it on the day?
We understand the patient journey. In most cases we will book a number of haircuts at the same hospital and can rearrange another time or day.

Are your prices comparable to a salon?
As we are a mobile service and sometimes have delays related to patient care, we charge a 20% premium on a salon service to cover the travel and extra time covered inthe appointment.
Do you cut men's hair and beards?
Yes we cut men's hair and provide a beard trimming service (please note we don't we don't offer a full blade service).
